Een aantal jaren\u00a0 co\u00f6rdinator van de Vrijwilligerscentrale in Apeldoorn, daarna vele jaren free-lance tekstschrijver pr &amp; voorlichting. In al die jaren verschoven fotografie en tekst van de marge naar het middelpunt.<\/p>\n<p>Mijn werk bestaat uit fotografie, tekst en met de hand gemaakte boeken. Als fotograaf werk ik autonoom, waarbij ik zoek naar verstilling en schoonheid. Mijn werk kun je ook zien als een pleidooi voor aandacht, voor stilstaan bij schijnbaar simpele dingen om ons heen: vormen, structuren, lichtval. \u201c Jij hebt de dingen niet nodig \/ om te kunnen zien \/ De dingen hebben jou nodig \/ om gezien te kunnen worden\u201d schreef K. Schippers in Liefdesgedicht.<\/p>\n<p>Gaandeweg ontstonden fotoseries; onder andere \u2018Mijn huis\u2019, \u2018Het water en de overkant\u2019, architektuur, glas en keramiek, &#8216;Het spoor&#8217;, &#8216;Cirkels&#8217; en &#8216;Dichter bij bomen&#8217;. Boeken en boekachtige objecten vormen een onderdeel van mijn werk.<br \/>\nMuziek is een belangrijk onderwerp in mijn werk, te zien in foto\u2019s van series muziekinstrumenten, gecombineerd met teksten die ik schrijf over die instrumenten.
